Does she really like me?

There is a girl at school who I really like but I am not quite sure if she likes me back. EVERY time we cross paths in the hall, she looks at me and smiles and says hi even if she is in the middle of a conversation with somebody (and of course I do the same). I have done some "research" online (MySpace and Xanga sites) and it appears as if the last time she was online was in May of 2006 (about 1.5 years ago) and at that time she had a bf who hasn't been online in the same period of time so I don't know if they are still going out. Unfortunately she isn't in any of my classes so I can't talk to her then and I don't even have her number so I could talk to her over the phone. I don't know who her friends are so I can't ask them if she like me. In my opinion, the "Write a note and put it in her locker" trick seems lame and not very confident so I don't want to do that. Does her behavior suggest that she likes me or isn't this enough to go on?
