At a concert I went to a few nights ago

Is this photo OK??
It's a pretty good picture (it's always hard to take pictures at concerts even if you're right up front) But hey, look who's in the picture!!! I'm guessin you like the Newsboys.

i think it would have been better if you pointed the camera a little more to the right so it wouldnt have cut off the keyboard player.


i like the colors though.
Reply:good color and sense of action and excitement.. but.. the image is pretty empty. there is a big space to the right of center with nothing in it.


the solution is to move to a place where you can be close and yet can have all the band members in frame. then wait till they ARE all in the frame.


a lot of patience and then quick reaction when the moment is right. not easy.
Reply:This is one of those lighting situations that really require the photographer to use the RAW setting to capture all the details in both the highlights and shadow areas.
Reply:What do you mean by OK? There is a bit of glare, which is a little distracting, and it is not "perfectly" framed in the photo, but it is a clear photo, in focus, and in my opinion does a good job of showing what was happening on the stage at that point in time. Depends on what you are trying to accomplish with that photo.
