Do I have a chance with photography? (photo inside)?
I would take some classes or look at toher photographers sites. It looks like a teenager had fun with a camera that knows nothing about taking pictures. But you are young and don't know what to do...Read get a book, take some classes. It will happen if you want ot learn
Reply:I do get tired of people posting images and asking "Could I be a good photographer?"
Truth is, do you WANT to be a good photographer? Anyone can point and shoot a camera and some people (such as yourself) can come up with interesting angles (which I do like, by the way). But being a professional photographer isn't all about having that artistic eye. If you are passionate about it, then buy a decent SLR, enrol in a photography course and put everything you have into it. If you don't want to "spend that kind of money on a camera" then you've made up your mind it's not your passion.
Reply:Keep working on learning all you can about composition, and also about lighting. Those are the two most important things to control.
Reply:The second one's not bad
Reply:I like the pictures...the first one, the little girl's head it cut off some. They look good otherwise. You should take a class and see if its really something you want to do
Reply:Hate to tell you this but just about anyone could have taken pictures like that.
Not trying to be mean just honest.
Reply:Its kind of basic, I would say we all have pics like these in our photo albumns.
Reply:mayeb you could take a class and find out!
but i liked your pictures!
Reply:Keep trying, and you never know.... Just watch your framing, and leave a little more space above heads etc.
Good luck.
Reply:Anyone has a "chance", but it is those who are dedicated to learning about photography and graduating from the masses that take snapshots that can truly call themselves photographers.
How much are you willing to put into this?
Reply:I think it's a good start.
You've got some of the basics down, the photos have descent composition.
The first is good because you've got lines going towards the subject, a lot of people don't get this. (The bad is you cut her head off). It's an interesting and fun shot.
The second is good because you got in close to the subject and you don't have a distracting background.
I think you've got a good natural start. I'd encourage you to learn more about the various aspects of photography, take a class, practice and have fun!
Reply:They are pretty basic but, anyone has a chance with photography if you really love it. Take some classes and you will learn alot ond get MUCH better. Contrary to popular belief, there is alot more to photography than just pointing and shooting. Good luck!
