Does anyone know something similar to myspacE?
so. i made a new xanga.its so gay.you cant do HTML it hasnt changed at all.and blogger...the same thing.if i wanted a journal i'd buy one.does anyone know something similar to myspace? its fun and i love editing it and using html..but like i cant get on myspace.so any ideas pleeese. oh and not facebook!

umm did you know the banned models of they are too skinny? one died of anorexia. when i saw her photos i wanted to PUKE. it was like.. a skeleton moving... btw the media puts too much pressure on girls to look the way they "should" so it basically revolves around the media and stuff. you can include other factors such as guys always thinking about sex and being thin is a benefit to it or w.e.

Normal size models = severely underweight
Plus size models = healthy weight

So you practice and practice and be VERY confident with your body and yourself and when you do walk the runway, be yourself and show what u got!

I'm sick and tired of them...because of perverts on xanga and myspace my internet is getting taken away by my mom..she thinks the internet is going to get me raped. i understand that shes worried about me..but just because i go on the internet doesnt mean a man is going to pop out of nowhere and rape me.

Ok well she is 12, and I HATE HER! She makes me soo mad! She checked my email today and I dunno how she got on, but she emailed back my BF and my friends and today they were all looking at me all funny. Apparently she was swearing and insulting him. She was flirting with my friends, odd I know. It is sooo weird! I changed my password and she screwed up my xanga account! What sould I do?

Second of all, I know it sucks. You have to tell her to stop violating your privacy. Just try telling her. Tell her to mind her own business and it really is none of her business to butt into your life and screw up your relationships.
If she still doesn't listen then you really have to ask her what her problem is and why she does this? And then you should ask her how she would feel if you violated her privacy?
If she still doesn't listen either a)get into her email/whatever or b)slap her or c)change all your usernames OR change ALL your passwords and make sure you don't have your passwords saved anywhere. And keep deleting browsing history so that your saved passwords disappear as well

Second of all, I know it sucks. You have to tell her to stop violating your privacy. Just try telling her. Tell her to mind her own business and it really is none of her business to butt into your life and screw up your relationships.
If she still doesn't listen then you really have to ask her what her problem is and why she does this? And then you should ask her how she would feel if you violated her privacy?
If she still doesn't listen either a)get into her email/whatever or b)slap her or c)change all your usernames OR change ALL your passwords and make sure you don't have your passwords saved anywhere. And keep deleting browsing history so that your saved passwords disappear as well

What you CAN do is watermark your images with some text -- your name, a copyright message, a Web link -- so it's obvious you took the photo. Position it properly, and they won't be able to crop it out.
The program I use is called 1-more Watermarker, and it's located here: http://www.1-more.com/pr_water.htm
It costs $19 but you'll find it's well worth the money.
You could also try searching on http://www.download.com for watermark programs and might be able to find a freebie; the one freebie I found there, about a year ago, was trash, but maybe there's a good one now.

Before summer was actually here, I would say summer, but now it is wayyy too dang hot for me. So I guess I will go with spring, allergies and all that come with it. :o)
I like a little bit of everything except for rap, but I couldn't live without my classic rock from the 60's and 70's like The Beatles, CCR, and Simon %26amp; Garfunkel. The funny thing is, I wasn't even born yet when these guys were popular, but I've always like this kind of music best.
I drink more water than anything else. I don't drink any caffeine because I already have wayy too much energy for my own good. My favorite alcoholic drink is wine, white specifically.

Before summer was actually here, I would say summer, but now it is wayyy too dang hot for me. So I guess I will go with spring, allergies and all that come with it. :o)
I like a little bit of everything except for rap, but I couldn't live without my classic rock from the 60's and 70's like The Beatles, CCR, and Simon %26amp; Garfunkel. The funny thing is, I wasn't even born yet when these guys were popular, but I've always like this kind of music best.
I drink more water than anything else. I don't drink any caffeine because I already have wayy too much energy for my own good. My favorite alcoholic drink is wine, white specifically.
Hmmm...getting kind of personal aren't we...I guess it would be any position that involves me being on top. I like to have the control. I hate doggy and missionary, so those are out. Backwards cowgirl can be kind of fun...
I spend most of my time on this website and myspace. But I suppose I like myspace best because it's the only way that I actually keep in touch with all my friends from high school and college!!

Somebody cracked my password to my Xanga site and changed the email address! Does anyone know how to crack my password back so I can get back into my account?

You might want to try to get in touch with the administrators of the Xanga site. They will be able to verify by looking at logs of http access that someone from a different zone has hacked your account. They may even be able to track down the offender.
I don't know the details of how good Xanga is about dealing with this sort of thing, but they do have an official procedure you can go through. I've included a web link below that is a good starting point.

i didnt read them, but some advice. ask some teachers. ask some random people on the street. go to a restaurant and ask the waiter to read it and tell you. if you want to get your poems published, go for real life, not internet. its not always dependable. also, send a letter to your favorite poet (a real famous one), and ask his/her opinion. 90% of all politicians say that video games are just as dangerous as guns and narcotics, and they plan on spedning 90 million dollars to prove it.

If they ban video games, then they should ban television shows, movies (especially Smokin' Aces, which sucked.), music and things we hear everyday. That's dumb. Long live State of Emergency! :]

Case in point, Dance Dance Revolution. I have yet to see anyone who becomes more obese from dancing. West Virginia even incorporated DDR into their state-wide phys. ed. courses for the people (much like myself) who otherwise have no interest in P.E. I guess these politicians have never read stories about people who have lost weight doing DDR.
As for other kinds of games, I am not much of a "gamer" but I will play some old-school games from time to time. I think they have positive influences and can build useful traits, such as problem-solving and just keeping the brain active in general.

That is called a 419 scam. Also known as a Nigerian Scam. If you contact them they'll tell you that you need to put down some kind of deposit to claim your money, and then you'll never hear from them again. And if you are dumb enough to give them your personal information, expect to see a whole lot of credit cards opened in your name.
If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Just delete it, or forward it to the authorities.

I got an e-mail that says I won a lottary prize and they say that thay are related with Yahoo UK may it be rig
That is called a 419 scam. Also known as a Nigerian Scam. If you contact them they'll tell you that you need to put down some kind of deposit to claim your money, and then you'll never hear from them again. And if you are dumb enough to give them your personal information, expect to see a whole lot of credit cards opened in your name.
If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Just delete it, or forward it to the authorities.

Do not ever respond to any such emails in anyway. Sometimes you need a second address and what I do is click on the address shown and a 2nd one reappears. This is the proper address. The FBI Internet may be interested.

What do you do when you like a girl, but she has a boyfriend, and she says she still likes you?
So there's this girl i like "Kelly" and i went out with her for about a month or so (i know that doesnt sound like alot, but we got really close). We got together like a week before winter break and i had to go on a trip (to Taiwan) during that time for about a week. I checked my xanga while i was there and she kept saying how much she missed me and loved me and wished i was home. When I finally got home from the trip, she seemed ecstaic to hear from me and was telling me how good she felt now that i was home. The relationship went well for about a month and then she all of a sudden decided to stop talking to me the day before our one month. I started panicking and eventually called one of her friends she tells me that kelly doesnt wanna be with me anymore b/c she "wasnt ready for a relationship". I find out 10 days later that she's with a new guy "Jeff". shes not sure if she truely loves him and still calls sometimes, but wont answer mine... she still tells me that she loves me....

Help Me Improve My Look! CLUELESS?

I think you are very pretty. I would try some highlights and buy a flat iron to straighten your hair. As for make-up: wax the brows to shape them, use little eye liner (at the top) and a black mascara. Then try summer shades of shadow, a light pink shade of lip stick and same tone of blush (try bobby brown).
