I have a friend that looks like you and she looks sooo cute with a hairstyle around this length!
Reply:shave it all off
Reply:Trim your hair shorter maybe 2-3 inches and get layers all around!
Reply:Become a blonde
Reply:I think you would look really cute with some side swept bangs (short enough so they aren't covering your eye) and if you want to do something else, get it cut to just above the shoulder in long, swingy, choppy layers!
Reply:the style you have in the pic is nice. try putting some barrel curls at the ends. or, get long layers and curl the top layers with 1/2 inch curls and straighten the rest of the hair. if you want, you can get highlights. if you dint want to use dyes, go to sally's and get clip in pieces. im sure it will look super cute!

the half curl half straight can be done like this:

separate hair at the crown and pin up that section of hair.

on the bottom section of the hair, straighten it.

the top section, use 1/2 inch curling irons and curl sections of the top section the size of a pen. the bottom section should be straight, while the top section should have small curls.

Reply:You have a couple of ways to go with that.

If you want something subtle, do some face framing layers or long layers or long, sweeping bang(it should be below your nose when you pull it down). These are all good ways to slightly change it without being to shocked. Here's an ide:

If you're looking for a more dramatic change, I would go for lots of angled layers or a choppy fringe in the front. Texture is a key word for your look. With some layering, you wouldn't need to sacrifice a lot of length to balance out your lovely, petite face. It's also a very versatile style that can be done as conservative or funky as you wish, and looks super-cute pulled into a messy ponytail. Here's a good pic on the right side of the page:

Or you could even do a trendy 'mod' style, straight, thick bangs with long layers, and the length could be worn curled or straight.

Good luck!
Reply:It's kind of hard to tell what your face shape is because that picture is taken at an angle. What I do know is that you're supposed to pick a hairstyle that matches your face shape. I put a link to a decent website (though you might want to do some more research anyway) that talks about good hairstyles for each type of face.

From what I can see though, you probably would be able to rock a fringe and a shorter style (which makes me jealous).
