How can i get through my schools website filters to access sites they have blocked?

i want to be able to get to my xanga and other such sites but my school has blocked them, i know theres ways to trick then but its been a long time seince ive used them and i tend to forget...i know its kinda wrong to try and trick the school, but mine has such strick rules, i cant even access my e-mail, and i would like to be able to send homework to my self...

How can i get through my schools website filters to access sites they have blocked?
CGI Proxy Servers are too slow and they don't allow you to do some things while on the site.
